TEMPORARY STAIR TOWERS

For temporary access to all levels of your job site, Gilco Scaffolding Co LLC offers two types of stair towers:

Systems Scaffold Stair towers

  • The typical base footprint is 7' x 14'
  • One riser goes up 6'6" but the step-off height is adjustable
  • The treads are 30 inches wide
  • For site security, these can be enclosed with plywood walls and a lockable door

Frame Type Stair towers

  • The typical base footprint is 5' x 7'
  • Risers go up 5' or 6'6" and the step-off heights are NOT adjustable
  • The treads are 20 inches wide
  • For site security, these can be enclosed with plywood walls and a lockable door

Gilco provides installation with our fully-trained crews. Or we offer simple rentals if your staff is qualified to do the work themselves.

Remember, OSHA requires two means of egress for limited access job sites.
